ABLAZE Part Ways With Singer, Announce Replacement

March 9, 2005

ABLAZE, the new Swedish death/thrash project featuring ex-RISING FAITH guitarist Fredrik Jordanius and former ZONATA drummer Mike Cameron Force, have parted ways with singer Johannes Nyberg. "The band wishes to thank him very much for helping out on the 'A' [promotional CD] recordings but a lack of time for the band due to other projects made it unable to find any time to rehearse for live shows," the group write on their web site. "New vocalist in the band is Pasi Humppi, also known for his awesome work in FRETERNIA and IRONWARE, and the band has just recently completed the re-recording of the vocals on 'A'." Audio samples of ABLAZE's current promotional CD, featuring vocals by Humppi, can be found at this location.
